We want to give us to see the city after Athens. First, we ask all marinas in for prices. All marinas reply and the prices are 31-62 EUR per day, plus tax and without electricity and water. Wifi is included in some, while others charge. The connection to bus and train is different and so we opt for the Athens Marina, which is located conveniently and is also inexpensive, but the Marina is only suitable for lying, there is no restaurantes, just nothing. The Marina was the venue for the water sport events of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. We just want to see the city and have here by bus and train is a good connection to Athens.

In the morning, at eight clock we want to go. When we see our deck, we are amazed clay dust covered the entire ship, the pier has a slight red coat. We unpack the water hose and wash the whole ship from. After 30 minutes, we cast off and set sail. for aft winds around 20 kt, we quickly come to the Corinth Canal.
For the drive-through for a 40 ft yacht is to pay 177 EURO in April 2014. From the West coming you have to call on VHF Ch 14 the "Canal Trafic", then the entrance is free and lowers the bridge. In the east, then one applies it to the pier and goes to the office for the fees to be paid.
We stay another day in Galaxidi and wait for the right wind by south - to drive east. Tomorrow are 15-20 kt wind from the West, which fits better. We wash the ship throughout the day, because water there are at the pier and we fill all tanks. In the afternoon we make a walk around the harbor and the town.

The next morning at 10 clock we set off from the village square to Delphi. The tickets you get in a bar on the square, one-way per person 3.50 EUR.
In Delphi, you get off at the 2nd stop, then it is approximately 5 minutes walk to the oracle. Admission includes museum 9 EUR.
The Delphic Sibyl was a legendary figure who made prophecies in the sacred precinct of Apollo at Delphi, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. According to a late source, her mother was Lamia, daughter of Poseidon. The Delphic Sibyl was not involved in the operation of the Delphic Oracle and should be considered distinct from the Pythia, the priestess of Apollo.
There were several prophetic female figures called Sibyls and male figures called Bakis (Greek spelling; Vakis) in the Graeco-Roman world. The most famous Sibyl was located at Cumae and the most famous Bakis at Boeotia. There are a number of legends about the Delphic Sibyl, though they are not necessarily all consistent. One claim is that her last prophecy was said to be the birth of Jesus Christ Pausanias claimed that the Sibyl was "born between man and goddess, daughter of sea monsters and an immortal nymph". Others said she was the sister or daughter of Apollo.

Our next destination is Galaxidy. We want to visit the oracle at Delphi. From Galaxidy from one well to get a bus to Delphi.
We make up alongside at the pier from the pavilion. The entire town pier looks good, everywhere are mooring and connections for electricity and water.
After two hours, the Port Police comes and asks us to come into the office on the following morning.
Lying at the town pier must be paid (about 20 EURO), electricity and water are not calculated separately.

From Messelonghi continue after Trizonia with wind astern under the bridge that goes from the mainland to Peloponnesus . All long-distance buses , for example, want of Lefkas , Preveza to Athens , need to then return later via the bridge from the canal of Corinth to mainland back over this bridge .
In Trizonia we will dock in an unfinished marina in the late afternoon . Of these there are several marinas in Greece, they cost nothing . We can but tell us sometimes come unauthorized profiteer who try to make money .
We look forward to a safe place for the night . Located in the harbor is a lost Ketch , only the masts still look out of the water . The lighting in the marina is turned on at night. Electricity and water are not available in the marina.
Many nice restaurants are located on the side facing the mainland. There is even a small mini market. Small ferries run several times a day to the mainland.

Meselongi located at the entrance to the Gulf of Corinth. There was once a Lagoon city is connected by sand but now with the mainland. The entrance is emphasized, sometimes driving commercial vessels after Meselongi, and the fairway is dredged. The basin is correspondingly large. To the west there is a marina with shipyard which is clearly visible at the related land yachts. Just outside of town is the pier for commercial vessels, and right toward the east part of the town pier is designated for yachts. On the wall large car tires are fitted as Fender, which make nice big black stripes!. The water depth is 4m. In April is not busy and we were able to invest alongside. Cost is 5 euros per day. The place has a large pedestrian area with many restaurants, bars, and restaurants.
In Greece is now ban on smoking in public places. We sit in a cozy pub on the town pier where mainly just sit locals. It is smoked. On every table is an ashtray decorated with a flower. Who wants to smoke just puts the flower to the side. But is a good solution .... we find in any event, as former smokers.
